Here are some samples of audio projects I have done.
My news package discusses seasonal affective disorder. I interview a fellow UCM student about their experiences with SAD and things they do to minimize the symptoms.
The audio was recorded using a handheld Shure microphone and a Marantz portable recorder. Post-production was done in Audacity.
My commercial project was a 30-second commercial for “The Sun Jacket,” a fictional product.
Voice work was recorded in the University of Central Missouri DMP Labs using the ElectroVoice RE20, a Wheatstone mixing board and Audacity.

Radio Drama: “The Black Hole”
“The Black Hole” is a three-minute radio drama about a college student who falls into a hole after being late for a test.
I wrote the script and recorded the vocals using the Electrovoice RE20 and Wheatstone board in UCM’s DMP Labs Live Radio 2 studio. I also recorded sounds using a Roland portable audio recorder and a shotgun hypercardioid microphone. The project was assembled in Audacity.
